Hamburger with herbs and Colonna mustard oil

Ingredients for 4:

  • 11 oz minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Chopped basil
  • Sage and parsley
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Mustard oil


Mix the meat, egg, breadcrumbs, part of the herbs, grated cheese and a pinch of salt; when the mixture is well amalgamated leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Form medium-sized hamburgers with the mixture and cook them in a little oil for about 5/6 minutes, then put them straight onto an oven tray, sprinkle the remaining herbs and put a slice of tomato and one of mozzarella on top.

Bake for 5 minutes at 180° C.

Serve the hamburgers hot on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes, dress with a drizzle of Mustard oil.
