On offer is a previously owned 1987 hardback with a dust cover, both in very good condition. The cover notes indicate that it “includes approximately 1,000 recipes which are illustrated by more than 280 lavish, full-color photographs.”  The book has “popular, traditional Italian recipes” as well as “new and more elaborate dishes” “in a happy marriage between simple regional dishes and more sophisticated creations.” The notes point out that it also has “an informative chapter on Italian wines which not only highlights the variety of products from Italy’s vineyards but also advises the cook about which wine best accompanies a particular dish.”  A fun addition to your cookbook collection or as a gift.
