This 2004 first edition is in great condition, including the slip jacket. In it Rocco teams up with his mother, Nicolina, on more than 150 recipes, none of which has more than 10 ingredients.  The recipes range from ones from Rocco’s earliest childhood and the first dishes she taught him to cook. This book is designed for the home cook, and the presentation is much “homier” than others in his body of work. Since ours is a two-person household, Rocco’s version of Pappa al Pomodoro – using day old bread – is a favorite year-round.
