Rucker is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy and came to Golden Door in 2000. He was named Executive Chef in 2005. This book, a first edition from 2009, showcases his “bold and fresh new American cuisine” while celebrating the Spa’s 50th anniversary.  In addition to recipes that have made the Spa famous, there are also cooking tips from Chef Rucker’s cooking classes, info on how to boost flavor healthily, and sidebars re fitness, nutrition and other parts of the Golden Door experience. The book is in very good condition, but is ex-library, so there are stamps.
