The Treasure Coast stretches down the east coast of Florida from a point north of Sebastian to Jupiter on the south. This copy is a first printing, first edition from November 1990, and is in very good condition. Unusually for a community cookbook, the people who submitted the recipes are not noted. Also unusual is the lack of “a can of” for a book of this era. Instead, it uses fresh products and has you make your own broth in the soup section. The menus at the front of the book and specialties at the back make for enjoyable reading. In fact, I’m thinking of the four ingredient Mushroom Soup for lunch.
