Product Info

This is a 2003 hardback in dust jacket in good condition – some wear on corners. As the cover notes say, “Here’s the ultimate guide to real, down to earth, and, above all, authentic French bistro cooking. Packed with 80 traditional recipes from all over France, it’s a mouthwatering celebration of great comfort food at its very best.” At the time of publication, the author was editor of two French food-oriented magazines and a wine guide. The recipes are timeless, easy to follow, and very approachable. A terrific introduction to French bistro food. The book was previously owned.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
