On offer is a 1998 first edition hardback with dust jacket. Minor wear on jacket, otherwise in very good to excellent condition. In 2016, Pierre Hermé was voted best pastry chef in the world by the Academy of the World's 50 Best Restaurants. This was his first cookbook in English, and he collaborated with Dorie Greenspan, bestselling author of Baking with Julia. Every recipe was tested for the American kitchen. Amazon says, “Pierre Herme is acknowledged to be the greatest pastry chef in France & at long last he divulges his recipes for more than one hundred divinely delicious & stunning desserts, many surprisingly easy to prepare.” Happily, the book opens with basic recipes.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
