Product Info

Offered is a previously owned, 2013 first edition hardback in dust jacket, both in like new condition. Per the cover notes, “Charleston cuisine is a prominent feature of the customs and culture of the city. The dishes of Charleston and New Orleans are, arguably, the last two distinctive cuisines left in America. If this is so, the question that begs is: Just what is Charleston cuisine? Join food historian Doug Bostick as he traces the origins of Charleston fare and presents many of the recipes that have marked this distinctive food culture.”  A proud addition to any cookbook library, the photographs alone are worth the purchase. And the recipes call out to be cooked and shared.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
