Product Info

These Iowa-born brothers have extensive restaurant experience in California restaurants such as Spago and with celebrity chefs like Rick Bayless. When this cookbook was published, in 2010, they had Brothers Restaurant in Los Olivos, California. The book was born of the numerous requests at the restaurant for them to share a recipe. In addition to the recipes for their favorite dishes (and customer favorites), they also include “Bro Notes” to give the reader recipe variations and culinary tricks. The book begins with breads, followed by cocktails, burgers & bar specialties. It proceeds in course order, but with asides like their journey together and the philosophy. Lovely photos. And I like that virtually every recipe has a suggestion on how to plate the dish! 2010 first edition with dust jacket in very good condition.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
