At the time this book was published (it’s a 2005 first edition) Pintabona had visited more than 30 countries and cooked alongside some of the most famous chefs in the world. These included Daniel Boulud, Charlie Parker, and Georges Blanc. He is best known for being the author of the TriBeca Grill Cookbook. The Shared Table is designed with the idea of casual dining with family and friends in mind. Somewhat unusually, it takes us on a culinary adventure, as each chapter corresponds to a period in Pintabona’s life. It includes recollections from his earliest days in the kitchen to his travels around the world both working with famous chefs and searching out new ideas and flavors. The book has striking food and travel photos plus family snaps aa well.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
