If you had to choose one cookbook to have on that proverbial desert island: this might be it. Quoting from the dust jacket: “it will become your indispensable source for all the tips, hints, and tricks you need…” I tend to judge cookbooks by their soups, since that’s my favorite food category. This book has 40 pages of soups, stews and chilis with 2 recipes per page. Yes – I am parting with this 2008 first edition in excellent condition (one tiny tear to dust jacket) because I have another.
