This book was originally published in 1967. On o_er is an 8th printing from October 1972 in  average condition. The Foreword says that the League “proudly presents a collection of  culinary treasures, a cookbook unique. As the recipes are diverse, so are the influences,  traditions and origins of the members and friends who provided them.” The chapter on  soups is actually Gumbos & Soups, with excellent guidance on making a roux. There’s a  chapter on Mexican food and drink, as well as three chapters on desserts. This book was  pre-owned.
