Product Info

As always, who wouldn’t like a community cookbook with almost 40 pages of soup and salad recipes? The book notes that this is a collection of favorite recipes that are not necessarily original but that all have been tested in preparing it. The book also contains 12 essays by (one assumes) famous Charlotte residents from a variety of fields. The recipes are easy to read, approachable, and seem to use readily available ingredients. A lovely addition to your community cookbook collection, or Presbyterian literature or North Carolina books. 2007, first edition in very good condition; hardback with interior spiral binding.

ABOUT OUR SHOP

Most of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Lake Garda in Italy. Olive aren't typically grown so far north. However, the soft breezes coming from the south, across Lake Garda, get trapped by the leading edges of the Dolomite mountains and create a micro-climate. One that is ideal for growing olives!
